Sometimes, the Quick Play selector shows more than 5 options instead of showing only most recently 5 worlds/servers.
Steps to reproduce:
1.Keep playing until you have more than 5 playing records that can be used in the Quick Play.
2.Toggle launcher's current account to another one.
3.(May needed) Play on this account so that this account can use Quick Play too.
4.Toggle the account back.
Then you will have a little chance found that the Quick Play selector shows more than 5 options.
BTW Sorry for my poor English.
Update:
It seems like that it cloned a existing option instead of showing more options that shouldn't be here.
I only have 3 options pinned and labeled title, but it shows 4 which cloned one of them.

Allright, for now, we will close this ticket.

For now, closing as cannot reproduce.
Hi, this happened to me now on a fresh install (Win 11 Pro 23H2). I had Minecraft Launcher open in the background and started a few instances of different Minecraft versions and played in worlds.
In the launcher there were suddenly 7 icons in the Quick Play bar, two of them were "fake" and clones of real existing ones, identifiable by the missing tooltip when hovering over them. They remained when switching tabs within the Java Edition page, but disappeared after changing the language in the settings.
I did not pin any icon, this bar was completely untouched and unused, except that I enabled it in the experimental feature settings. I don't have exact repro steps, but the
[media]file from when it happened.
@unknown
Did it occur more than once? Will you be able to reproduce it for a video?
On what language did this issue occur?
@unknown
Does this occur also on Win7/8 version of the Launcher?

Hi again, after a long session I finally managed to reproduce it and recorded a video of what it looks like when the Quick Play selector cloned an option; nothing was pinned. Switching to the Bedrock page and back reset it and it worked normally again.
Hi again, I've now found reliable repro steps, check out the last two attached videos.
Start the launcher, make sure all 5 quick play slots are already assigned (doesn't matter with what).
Start any installation and join an existing singleplayer world.
Leave it again and create a new world.
Leave it again and quit the game.
→ ❌ A new cloned 6th Quick Play selector option appeared.
Hi!
Can you check if this issue occurs without Mods?
Please uninstall the Launcher, delete .minecraft folder (copy its content elsewhere before deletion) and then reinstall, restart your computer. Then please try to boot the Launcher.
Does pinning/changing icon/showing title initials have any input on the outcome of this issue?
Does this issue occur only when switching accounts?
