Ever since 1.14+ updates came out they made a new launcher. When you get on the launcher it takes a while to load. It used to be quicker on older devices but it is a ton slower. Same with old java edition versions, they used to be fast but then the new launcher came out and now it is very slow even on older versions like 1.8.x-1.13.x.I think that the way minecraft java is loaded was changed to match newer devices and the performance that newer devices have. Can someone explain why if it isn't a bug and if it is then can it be fixed?
Issue: Java game performance
Example:
On my computer, lenovo ideapad 310 15-isk, it used to be able to play 1.14.x and lower with ease. But, after the newer updates and the newer launcher came out, the performance got worse and worse on older versions even. Nothing should have changed so I tried to get the older launcher but that didn't change anything.

Occurs on both launchers and has to do with how java loads.

Nope, since the game itself is not affected (it would run fine with the old launcher), this is a launcher issue.
Moving this over to the MCL project as the issue in the description is talking about the launcher.
If you can provide any examples or test cases this would be much appriciated.

Is it with booting the Java game?
Booting the Launcher itself?
Or maybe java game performance?
Please also see if the same issue occurs on the other Launcher (either win10/11version or win7/8 version from minecraft.net).
