Since yesterday, I wasn’t able to start the Minecraft Launcher under Linux. To be exact, under Arch Linux with Kernel 6.13.4-arch1-1, and I have already tried everything, reinstalling the launcher, reconfiguring certain packages, but nothing changed. The same issue was always there. The only thing that managed to fix temporarily, was by renaming the Minecraft directory as a different name, like, for example, .minecraft-bak
. That would fix it temporarily, and I am unsure of what Launcher version it is really affected by because I use the AUR version for the launcher. By temporary fix, I mean that the Launcher would start up the first time, but it won’t start up the second time, showing the same window.
Under https://imgur.com/a/V2ZFiaE is the screenshot of what I get, when trying to start up Minecraft. I use the AMD Ryzen 7 5700G with its integrated graphics alongside Radeon RX 6400. I also used DRI_PRIME=1
to switch to my RX 6400 graphics, but to no avail.

Thats the launcher log, in case MCL-24884, the workaround:
rm .minecraft/webcache2/Default/Preferences
Temporarily fix the problem, but you need to run this command every time before running minecraft-launcher
