The Minecraft Launcher is ironically not launching properly.
(I have no idea how to insert images into here, so heres what I get when I run it from terminal)[azureskyed@azure-pc ~]$ minecraft-launcher Created browser window for reuse: 0x5200004 terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::bad_function_call' what(): bad_function_call (minecraft-launcher:26381): IBUS-WARNING **: 19:25:30.944: minecraft-launcher has no capability of surrounding-text feature terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::bad_function_call' what(): bad_function_call

For me it doesn’t launch at all anymore.
The logs say[11605:11605:0301/135820.541690:ERROR:object_proxy.cc(576)] Failed to call method: org.kde.KWallet.isEnabled: object_path= /modules/kwalletd6: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Remote peer disconnected [11605:11605:0301/135820.541709:ERROR:kwallet_dbus.cc(112)] Error contacting kwalletd6 (isEnabled) [11605:11605:0301/135820.541765:ERROR:object_proxy.cc(576)] Failed to call method: org.kde.KLauncher.start_service_by_desktop_name: object_path= /KLauncher: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name is not activatable [11605:11605:0301/135820.541769:ERROR:kwallet_dbus.cc(81)] Error contacting klauncher to start kwalletd6 [11605:11605:0301/135820.615661:ERROR:object_proxy.cc(576)] Failed to call method: org.kde.KWallet.close: object_path= /modules/kwalletd6: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Remote peer disconnected [11605:11605:0301/135820.615675:ERROR:kwallet_dbus.cc(502)] Error contacting kwalletd6 (close) sh: line 1: orca: command not found Created browser window for reuse: 0x1e00004
But I don’t think this is related because I’ve always had kwallet disabled and it worked before
I am also facing this issue. I have found that if I delete/move the .minecraft folder, I can start the launcher exactly once. If I close it, then upon reopening it I immediately get the “Whoops” screen with the message
AN unexpected issue occurred; we are sorry for the inconvenience. Please try restarting your Launcher. If that does not resolve the issue, please log a bug report HEREThis happens regardless of how far I go through the launcher in that first, successful run. I’ve tried closing it before entering my Microsoft credentials, and also (after again deleting .minecraft) after downloading and starting Java Edition, but before creating any saves.
The temporary fix of deleting Default/Preferences also no longer works for me, It did for a little while. Not sure what’s changed but it just doesn’t work anymore.

I fixed it by setting the application in KDE Menu editor to rm /home/user/.minecraft/webcache2/Default/Preferences && minecraft-launcher
Same issue, tried reinstalling from AUR and same problem.
