Minecraft Launcher not opening properly (ARCH)

The Minecraft Launcher is ironically not launching properly.

(I have no idea how to insert images into here, so heres what I get when I run it from terminal)
[azureskyed@azure-pc ~]$ minecraft-launcher

terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::bad_function_call'
 what():  bad_function_call

launcher log attached

For me it doesn’t launch at all anymore.
The logs say

But I don’t think this is related because I’ve always had kwallet disabled and it worked before

Exact same issue for me. Same exit message as Gonk shared in is launcher logs.

I am also facing this issue. I have found that if I delete/move the .minecraft folder, I can start the launcher exactly once. If I close it, then upon reopening it I immediately get the “Whoops” screen with the message

AN unexpected issue occurred; we are sorry for the inconvenience. Please try restarting your Launcher. If that does not resolve the issue, please log a bug report HERE

This happens regardless of how far I go through the launcher in that first, successful run. I’ve tried closing it before entering my Microsoft credentials, and also (after again deleting .minecraft) after downloading and starting Java Edition, but before creating any saves.

deleting

.minecraft/webcache2/Default/Preferences

fixes the error

make sure that the launcher is closed when you delete the file as it will automatically readd it

The temporary fix of deleting Default/Preferences also no longer works for me, It did for a little while. Not sure what’s changed but it just doesn’t work anymore.

Installed through yay.

Operating System: Arch Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.2
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.11.0
Qt Version: 6.8.2
Kernel Version: 6.13.5-zen1-1-zen (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland
Processors: 16 × AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX with Radeon Graphics
Memory: 30.7 GiB of RAM
Graphics Processor 1: AMD Radeon Graphics
Graphics Processor 2: Nvidia RTX 3070 Mobile
Manufacturer: HP
Product Name: OMEN by HP Laptop 16z-c000

I fixed it by setting the application in KDE Menu editor to rm /home/user/.minecraft/webcache2/Default/Preferences && minecraft-launcher

Update: nope. doesn’t launch sometimes. If rm can’t remove /home/user/.minecraft/webcache2/Default/Preferences? Regardless, I have no success.
