I fixed it by setting the application in KDE Menu editor to rm /home/user/.minecraft/webcache2/Default/Preferences && minecraft-launcher

I reccommend switching to a third party launcher like Prism. Prism let’s me push the game over to my dGPU with a single checkbox. The stock launcher does not and I do not care to figure out how to add the jre to the Prime list or whatever. Also, you can extremely easily set up modded instances. And doesn’t crash every second and further time you launch it.
