If I leave the launcher open, the GUI eventually disappears and is replaced by a blank gray color inside the window. I have to close and restart it to bring the GUI back.
If I launch a game by clicking play before it goes blank, there is a high chance the game will fail to launch and the window will go blank again.
Usually the game launches before the window goes blank but quite often this behavior changes, becoming difficult and taking five or more attempts before the game launches.
I also have to end the process of the launcher in task manager to increase the odds of the game launching. Spam clicking the play button sometimes helps too.

The issue occoures unrelated to time - its consistent.
Legacy launcher on win 11.
I don’t use the regular launcher because that wasn’t working last time i tried.
It occurs on every use case of the launcher. I don’t think i ever see it not have an issue.
We do not have enough information to find the cause of this issue.
Please record a video of this happening and attach it to this report.
If you are on Windows, you can use Windows+Alt+R to open a built-in app for recording game footage.
If you are on Mac (Mojave or later), you can use Shift+Command+5 to open a built-in app for recording your screen.

Could you try launching the latest snapshot or release without any add-ons, mods, or other modifications?
Could you test the issue using the newest launcher and the legacy launcher?
Additionally, have you tried the steps mentioned in the previous comment, such as uninstalling the launcher, deleting the .minecraft folder, and then reinstalling the launcher?

After what time does this issue occur?
Does this issue occur on Legacy Launcher (Win 7/8 version) or on regular (Win 10/11)? Can you try the other one?
Does it occur on every boot?
Can you also please uninstall the Launcher, delete .minecraft folder (copy its content elsewhere before deletion) and then reinstall, restart your computer. Then please try to boot the Launcher.
