[MCL-24984] Launcher aborts without opening

terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::logic_error'
  what():  basic_string::_M_construct null not valid

The launcher throws this error when trying to run it.

Is this still an issue for you? Does this occur after you have reinstalled the launcher?

For anyone experiencing similar issues try setting the environment variable LCL_ALL to C (i.e., env LCL_ALL=C minecraft-launcher).
