Steps to reproduce the issue
Open the launcher and click on the open account button (top left corner) to access Help, profile management or any other option
Expected result
Access any of the options mentioned above
Actual result
The click is registered on the buttons behind the dropdown menu (Home; Minecraft: Java Edition; Minecraft: Bedrock Edition;...)
*I have already removed and installed the launcher, but the problem persists.
Environment
Ubuntu 24.04
Java: openjdk version 21.0.7
Launcher: version 3.14.2

Are you on Gnome because I have the same bug on fedora 40 and 41 but only on Gnome and on KDE Plasma it’s working ?

I just edited the report summary because I noticed that the same thing happens with other existing dropdown menus.
I was just trying to create a new installation in a previous version.
When I try to select any previous version, the option selected by clicking is not accepted: it always selects the most recent version.
The only way to select other option is to use the arrows, scroll to the desired option and press ENTER.
This is exactly what happens with the menu originally mentioned in this report.
