Yes, switching to Wayland only solved the problem with the dropdown on the play screen. On the new installation creation screen, the problem persists.

I just edited the report summary because I noticed that the same thing happens with other existing dropdown menus.
I was just trying to create a new installation in a previous version.
When I try to select any previous version, the option selected by clicking is not accepted: it always selects the most recent version.
The only way to select other option is to use the arrows, scroll to the desired option and press ENTER.
This is exactly what happens with the menu originally mentioned in this report.
Another problem after switching to Wayland: FPS drops to 16, sometimes 18 FPS. When in X11, there is no problem at all (usually at 120 FPS).
In other words, switching to Wayland is far from the best solution.
