In order to recreate the issue, first open the Minecraft launcher on a Mac with a 16” display, making sure that no instances of Java Minecraft are running.
It will open off-center to the right by exactly 98 pixels every time (actual result), instead of being centered (expected result). You can move it back to the left, and when the Minecraft Launcher is opened while the Java Minecraft is open it will be centered, but the next time the launcher is opened without Java Minecraft running it will go back to being off-center by 98 pixels to the right, hiding some buttons and making part of the launcher be offscreen.
Environment
MacOS, Minecraft Launcher 3.21.18-2.3.2

Same thing happens on my brother’s Ubuntu 24.04 laptop.
I think this is pretty much a universal small-screen issue.
Maximizing the window seems to mitigate the issue, at least on my brother’s laptop.
