New launcher has completly ruined my game, dont do it automatically please :)

just use the settings to set the version to the one that still functioned correctly and play the game.
you aren't forced to play a newer version of the game and all older versions are still available

EDIT:
just go to settings, activate historical versions and create a new profile

1. The only server I ever play on is on 1.11.2
2. No versions work for minecraft anymore, I need actual help

Please attach the complete output of the "Launcher Log" and the "Game Output" tabs which can be found on the launcher.
If the launcher closes after game start, please edit your profile and select "Launcher visibility" then, "Keep the launcher open".

Cant allocate more ram, support center is useless to me because the community thing has been moved. I actually think I cant play this game again
