I got the same problem. I walked into my villager area and first thing I see is a baby villager without a head
One thing that I observed was that when I spawned in a baby mob and I tried to place a block above its body (I guess its not the head lol) it wouldn't let me place it almost like the mob was 2 blocks high and not 1.
I just made this report but with the baby villagers. I haven't seen any other baby mobs in my world yet.
EDIT: Yup, looks like it's for all baby mobs. Just went into creative to spawn a bunch lol.
Have you found a fix for this? I am having that same problem on my Bedrock versions on PC and Xbox One. This is crazy.
Little info that this doesn't affect mooshroom, foxes, llamas and horses
