Clicking a link on a browser that adds an external server will take you to the Friends section

Clicking the link on the browser which adds an external server will take you the Friends tab instead.

How to reproduce:

Type the following URL:

minecraft://?addExternalServer=(ServerName)%7C(URL of the server:(Port))

(also make sure that minecraft is running in background)

for example:

minecraft://?addExternalServer=SkyBlockPE%7CPlay.SkyBlockpe.com:19132

Results:

Takes you to the Friends Tab. -> ❌

Maybe the reason for this is because External Servers would be put in the Friends Tab before Featured Servers were a thing.

Hello, thanks for taking a look.

The steps for replication are:

  1. Create a hyperlink on your website or by other means: `minecraft://?addExternalServer=Test server|example.com:12345`

  2. Click the link and wait for Minecraft to open.

  3. Check the menu that Minecraft opens for you, it'll be on Realms instead of `Servers`.

It'll correctly add the server, it simply opens the wrong menu upon loading which causes confusion to the end users clicking these hyperlinks as they then have to navigate back to the Servers page to join that server.

Following the instructions from the original poster I managed to replicate the issue on the latest Minecraft.

(Cold start) -> Minecraft should open the `Servers` menu but instead it lands on the home screen.

(Minecraft already running) -> Minecraft does open a menu, but it opens `Realms` instead of `Servers`.

Add function works as intended. Hope this mini QA helps.
