Ice block breaking animation differs from Java

So I went exploring on my Minecraft world and I found an ice biome. I decided to mine one of the ice blocks and I noticed that the black pixels didn’t appear when I mined it. This may be a duplicate. This bug does not occur with packed ice or blue ice.

How to reproduce:

1. Make a new flat world.

2. /tp @s 0 4 0 

3. /setblock 0 4 1 ice

4. /gamemode 0

5. Destroy the ice.

Expected results: The black pixels appear when you destroy the ice.

Observed results: They don’t. 

Note: Ios does not have this bug.

Update on this issue: 

After 1.16.200, the breaking particles appear inside the ice.
