Water leaks through stair blocks when not all of same type.

I built a small 3x3 farm well using 8 upward oriented stair objects.  When I fill the well with water, the water leaks out.

I tried 'cobblestone', 'mossy cobblestone', 'brick', and 'mossy brick' patterns, and they all leaked.

okay, I tried again and noticed that if I used the same 8 blocks it works, but if I mix and match different stair types the well leaks.

Thanks

Could you attach a picture? I am not sure what your layout is.

Confirmed in 1.16.40 Win 10. I am only able to reproduce leaking through corner stairs. The direction that water leaks seems to depend on the type of stair and the directional side that it attaches to a different type of stair.

Version 1.21.44 on Android

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Arrange stairs where the corner stair is different from adjacent stair(s)

2. Waterlog corner stair

Observed Results:

Water flows out of corner stair as if the hitbox was not changed by adjacent stair.

Expected Results:

Water stays within the confines of the waterlogged stair as expected of the hitbox shape.
