Boats placed on land will float at the level they are placed, instead of dropping down to the next lowest block.

In the video it is raining. Does this also happen in clear weather?

@AM71113363 It's definitely not, the boats move slower on blocks than in the air anyways.

Is this only happening in RTX worlds?

@Mega_Spud I noticed that someone else said this issue was duplicated in 1.16.200.55 Beta, but the pictures they provided were of the RTX Beta. I tested it myself in 1.16.200.57 Beta, and the boat worked normally.

The pictures in the duplicate report do appear to show an RTX world, but the text at the top says 1.16.200.55. So this may only apply to (some?) RTX worlds.

@GoldenHelmet That could be, though the world I found it on is definitely unintentional because I found it on a boat racing track.

I tried Ready Sled Go (by Noxcrew) and boats float on that map. It may be map specific because I can't reproduce on a different world

This bug is fixed in the latest beta version, and the fix will be included in a future update when that is ready for full release (no specific date can be given). We will leave this ticket open as a point of reference until the fix has been fully released.
