Repost of MC-197276 for bedrock, which has been fixed in java edition snapshot 20w46a
When you eat a Pufferfish, you will get poison 4 instead of 2, despite dealing exactly the same amount of damage as poison 2. Relates to MC-197276 and MCPE-98458

This will be fixed in the next java edition snapshot, so this is definitely a bug.

Now that this is actually fixed in Java 20w46a, this should make sense to consider a parity change on Bedrock too.
