I placed snow covers in a biome that does not naturally have snow (Not a desert) and the snow covers that were sufficiently away from any light source melted anyways.
What I Expected To Happen Was:
The snow covers that were sufficiently away form all light sources would remain.
What Actually Happened Was:
They Melted Anyways.
Steps To Reproduce:
1. Place snow covers in a biome without natural snow and away from snow melting light sources
2. Wait
3. Witness the unjustified melting of the snow

I'm not entirely sure because this is a pre 0.9 world that was made infinite with 0.11; however, I tried in a brand new world in some kind of forest (it had oak trees and I think birch trees) but I'm not quite sure what biome technically) and it did the same thing.
Confirm on iPad 4 I was in a snow biome in my village I made and I all a sudden see the snow melting on the roof!
I have a same problem in android device. I checked this bug in LG G2. I think this bug happened the first time on 0.12.0 beta versions for me. Need to be fixed ASAP.
