Sometimes when you jump into a cave or cliff, you take more damage than you suppose, and then you start taking damage out of nowhere from the fall and AGAIN until it kills you and is so upset, it happens especially in multiplayer games but It also happens in single player games!

Are you sure you weren’t hit by an invisible mob after you fell? (MCPE-71243) It does not appear that you initially took any fall damage.
