[MCPE-108195] Fletcher won't trade tripwire hook for emerald

I have a cured zombie villager fletcher in my base who says he'll take 1 tripwire hook for an emerald, but won't make the trade when I have one in my inventory.

Steps to Reproduce:

Obtain 8 tripwire hooks
Place a tripwire hook while facing east, west, or south
Break and pick up the tripwire hook
Try to trade the tripwire hooks with a fletcher villager

Observed Results:
The fletcher won't accept the tripwire hooks.

Expected Results:
The fletcher should accept the tripwire hooks.

I've seen this happen with pumpkins and Farmers (not cured). I have a stack of pumpkins that none of my farmers will trade. I can't manage to reproduce the situation. For your tripwire hook, will another fletcher trade it?

I'm on 1.16.201 on Nintendo switch.

I am on the latest version of Minecraft: Bedrock Edition and have had the same issue.

As soon as you place a tripwire hook, it invalidates your whole stack for some reason and attempting to place the tripwire hooks manually will result in the hover-over message stating,

'Trader does not want this'
