When you go to your character creation, then click achievements, the game just crashes and sends you back to your home screen.

Confirmed in 1.16.210.51 Beta. For me, this only occurs with the new achievements screen and with v-sync turned on.

I do not have vsync turned on, to my knowledge at least

I think v-sync is enabled by default. To check if it is enabled go to "AppData > Local > Packages > Microsoft.MinecraftUWP_8wekyb3d8bbwe > LocalState > games > com.mojang > minecraftpe", open the "options" file and search for "gfx_vsync". If it have a 1, v-sync is enabled, so to disable it replace the 1 for a 0. Now try opening again the archievements screen. I tried this and it worked for 1.16.200.

Turning vsync off with @Destriker05's solution fixed this problem for me.

I experienced this on the Unofficial Linux Launcher. This did not happen on iOS.

Sup! Matthew here, wanting to give a hand aswell🙂
I used Destriker's method to turn v-sync off and it worked (1.16.201), but before coming here i did a research myself, cause at first i reinstalled the game to try to solve the issue and it did at first, but once i customized my video options i noticed the crashes started again.
After 30 minutes checking what could it be, enabling and disabling options one by one, i noticed that the crashes stopped happening once my Antialiasing was in any number other than 1. After that i could watch my achievements without issues or crashes. Weird, but seems like having it on 1 will always make the game crash on achievements page.
Hope this helps the devs on the Windows 10 Area.

I can verify this as well on Windows 10. And Mateo's method works. Apparently, if Anti-Aliasing is set to 1, your game will crash upon pressing the achievement button. After it crashes, this screen may occur.

You will have to restart the game by closing it after your Anti-Aliasing has been set to 2 or above. After restarting, even if you switch it back to 1, your game will not crash when looking at the achievement screen. Only until after you restart the game after you've changed Anti-Aliasing back to 1, will the crashing occur again.
