Ever since about March this year, the boot up times for the game have been insane and they have become increasingly long. In March it was around a 5min wait but now it has become a 30+ minute wait and even then it crashes once it gets to the main menu. Something I have noticed is that the storage for the game caps at 2.0GB and I have already reached that 2.0GB limit which in itself is madness since the second largest game in my library (Mortal Kombat 11) only uses up 161MB!!
It is absolutely ridiculous that this bug has been going on for such a long time. Eventually, everyone will run in to this problem if they play minecraft long enough since the storage doesn’t deplete and causes the game to slow. This bug should be a priority fix above anything else.
attached is a photo of the insane 2.0GB that minecraft has used up compared to some other much more demanding games.
