Please try again without Mobizen or other mods installed. Also, if that isn't your default keyboard, try resetting to using that keyboard.
When that's done, try force quitting MCPE, opening a new world and try chatting in it. I expect that should work, but let me know the results.
If it does not work, go back to the multiplayer server and make sure to login (so you can chat) then try again in the single player world.
In the multiplayer world you tried to access, you cannot chat until after you have logged in. So that part works as intended. It is possible that MCPE is not resetting the setting to disable chat when you quit then load the single player game.
