Labeling maps turn to hashtags

Does this issue affect maps exclusively or maybe command blocks or any entity which can be renamed?

just maps. at least so far

This is happening to me and it's frustrating. I try to rename a map with it's middle coordinates and if I try to do a number longer than a single digit I get hash tags. See pictures attached. I was able to type in the "1000, -3000" or whatever combination I wanted but now I can't.

Still happening as of the date of this report.

is affecting Version 1.17.0 as tried in anvil and cartography table same result 

Affects 1.17.10, duplicated by MCPE-131841. Easiest to reproduce on realms.
