Minecart sound stops permanently

I have an auto pumpkin farm using pistons and a minecart hopper. But when the pistons activate the sound of the minecart moving stops and i have to leave the area before the 'wooshing' sound of the minecart comes back.

I know this doesn't seem like a big issue - who likes hearing the relentless roar of a perpetually moving minecart? - But because I couldn't hear it going, i assumed - multiple times - it had stopped and so constantly dug up the ground works to try and rectify a problem that didn't exist.

Is this still an issue in 1.16.210? The 1.16.210 changelog describes a fix for MCPE-104044 in a way that sounds like it should have fixed this issue too.

  • Minecarts now properly update their effects (looping sound, player coordinates) when the minecart is not being rendered for the rider (MCPE-104044)

Ok I was able to test and this is a different issue from the one that was fixed. This issue seems to be triggered by other sounds like pistons playing, and not the FOV like the other issue that was fixed.
