App is installed for 2nd Android user. User account is restricted via Google family link, but that does not appear to have any influence.
Saving additional servers is working fine if MC user is 1st user on device.
Additional servers are only shown while the MC app is running.
After stopping and starting MC again the list of additional servers is empty, regardless of what was entered during previous runs of the MC app.
Manually copying a file external_servers.txt from a working setup to /mnt/user/10/primary/games/com.mojang/minecraftpe doesn't change anything.
But /mnt/user/10/primary/games/com.mojang is definitely used for the 2nd user:

list of additional servers is empty

all additional servers entered should still be shown

Is this still an issue in the latest version (1.17.2)? If so, can you please add it to the affected versions (or mention it if you are not the reporter).

Reopening as this is still an issue according to MCPE-151334.
Discussing the repro with MCPE-151334, it isn't completely the same. In my case, the child account is the primary and only account on the Android device. But it has similar issue to both this bug and MCPE-37685 in that the server list is not persisted for a restricted child account.
Can you upload a video of this happening? I could not reproduce. Also, what device are you using and what OS version?

Storage has already been granted, contacts not.
So assuming you mean Storage I already played around with that. W/o storage the MC cannot sign into Microsoft account.
Currently it's a fresh installation of the MC app and storage permission has been granted before first starting it.
