Incorrect Conduit Range

According to the official wiki, a maxed out Conduit should have a range of 96. This is only partially correct.

The range on Bedrock is not a perfect square, nor is it a circle of any sort.

On a single-player world, it is very close to square; however, in the northwest corner there is a small section that does not receive the effect (as shown in the attached image).

On a Bedrock Dedicated Server, however... it is not even remotely close to square, more like an extremely chunky "circle". I don't currently have a screenshot of this, since it's an SMP world and therefore not as easy to map out with limited resources and mobs constantly attacking.

I'm not sure if it's related (I'd imagine it is), but beacons also have the same issue.

Is the conduit within the simulation distance? Conduits (and beacons) outside the simulation range will not have any effect.

Yes, it is within sim distance. Sim Distance is at 10.

If conduit range is a 96 block square, that would be 6 chunks from the conduit, for a 13x13 chunk coverage area.
For a 10-chunk simulation distance, there would be a 1-chunk square at each of the corners of the 13x13 square with the chunk containing the conduit at the center. That looks like what you show on your map.

The simulation distance for BDS might be less. At least for Realms it is limited to 4 chunks. That would produce the "chunky circle" range you are describing. Can you confirm what simulation distance you are using on your BDS?
