When playing the game on my PS4 we as a group of players playing on my game file end up getting a crash,
The crash says Game error not enough storage space.
I have plenty of space in storage and yet the game keeps doing this.
I am truly disappointed that there is and has been no way to fix this issue.

Do you also have the "Editions" version of the game, and if so, do you have many worlds saved there?
You might also want to try removing any cached Marketplace data that you have by going to Minecraft>Settings>Storage and removing any unnecessary content there.
If you are still having issues, it might be worth uninstalling Minecraft and deleting the local data on your device, but please make sure you back up any data you wish to keep beforehand.

I have the PS4 version downloaded from the PlayStation store. I have not added any pack to it. I had one world of 953.1Mb and only saved data for this world. I took a copy of the world and managed to enter it. After a couple of hours I got the same error message, out of storage. I have masses of free storage.

The only thing that seems to give me about 3hrs of game play with no issues is a upload to cload storage, after about 3hrs I have to repeat the upload to keep playing.
This issue is a coding problem that needs to be addressed by the Developer(s) of the game. Since it is now a Microsoft Game and Mojang is the original team it will take some deep diving to sort threw the problem.
