I am in the over world going into the nether and when I get through the Nether portal all I see is floating spiders and then I die. It says I died due to a creeper but I had max health and 2 netherite armor pieces and chain legs. Lost a full inventory and like 15 levels. When I spawned and went straight back through the portal. My stuff was not there and no mobs were to be seen because the portal is in a cave with zero openings.

I also attached the clip for your viewing. When I spawn in the nether it shows the area that I'm in but that is not at all where my nether spawn is. Btw this is a fresh new nether portal I just moved it.

A creeper doesn't kill someone with netherite armor and chain legs in one go. Also it was a fresh nether portal. First time going in. There should be no reason why the mobs are in there.

From the video it appears you did not move your portal far enough, since there is construction on the other side which indicates it linked to an old portal.
In addition it appears you took damage to the spiders before loading into the nether, caused by MCPE-42310, followed by the creeper dealing very high damage from being very close to you.
