When I switch from fancy leaves to fast leaves or the opposite I need to update the leaves by placing blocks around them to see the change.
Steps to Reproduce:
Place some leaf blocks
Go to Settings > Video
Enable/disable Fancy Leaves
Place a block on the leaves
Observed Results:
The leaves don't update until a block is placed.
Expected Results:
The leaves should update immediately after enabling/disabling Fancy Leaves.

I can still reproduce this in 1.16.221 when i turn off fancy leaves, when i go further i found opaque leaves with transparent leaves overlapped
