After the latest update I logged into play on my son's world with him but my inventory was completely gone and I spawned in the original spawn point in this world. After returning back to the Xbox Home Screen and quitting the game "which usually fixes this issue" and reloaded the game it still had me spawn in the same spot with an empty inventory. We then had our daughter log in and it was the same, she spawned in the original spawn point with a completely empty inventory.
I lost my enchanted netherite pick axe, and sword and enchanted elytra wings and 8x shulker boxes full of items! Also all of the items I had assigned to me in the ender chest are all gone too, including another 14 shulker boxes full of items and 3 empty shulker boxes!

Yes, same issue here, ever since the patch update on the 9th. My husband and I have multiple worlds and on every single one, whether on his account or mine, the 2nd player starts at original spawn point and no inventory that was previously saved.

Same thing. Everyone in my family who is not the person whose world it is starts at world spawn with no inventory. Started with 1.16.210 update today. Normally play 4 player split screen. Xbox.

Same issue here. Logged in to play on split screen and all of my inventory is completely gone. I was spawned in the original spawn point with nothing on me. All my gear, tools, progress gone! So disappointing, makes me not want to play anymore.

Experiencing the same issue with my brother and I’s world. We normally play 4 player split screen and all my kids and brother inventory wiped. We used to solve this the same way but can’t.
