Low Performance High CPU GPU Usage

I have a similar laptop and am also having performance issues.

Attempting to mine a chunk.

Once I removed the top 6 layers of blocks, performance disappeared, with huge lag & FPS dropping to single digits.

Is this still an issue in the latest version? If so, can you add it to the affected versions?

And my Poco F2Pro is getting a laggy experience while playing
Even with many settings disabled

also having major performance issues on a PC that does not have that bad specs (i7 10th gen, 16gb ram, mx250 graphics card is on the lower end but should still be good enough)
