While using the app on an iPhone 8, which has loads of free memory, the app became very slow and crashed. Since then it is impossible to start the app, it crashes each time it is started.
On internet I can't find a solution.
Please, please help me to find a solution. My son is very sad and afraid he will loose all the worlds he has build.

It's hard to say from this description if reporter's issue is the same what I've started experiencing. But 1.16.210 also crashes on start up for me 100% of the time on my iPad Pro 9.7-inch. I've attached an example crash log:

You're not alone. This same crash log happens on my son's iPad Mini (AppVariant 1:iPad5,2:13.)
2.16.210.05(2.16.210) was crashing at the end of the loading screen.
If you delete XBLStorage.json and turn off WiFi/Cellular data, it crashes earlier in the loading screen, but with the same thread throwing the same exception.
Oldest crash log is March 20th.... he's turning feral over not being able to play Minecraft! 😞

I am not able to confirm if the issue is resolved or not. My son removed the corrupted version of Minecraft and installed a new version again a few days after the issue became obvious, by that loosing all his work he did till then. He still feels sad about that.
Anyway, it seems to work ok now. Hope it stays that way.
