Invalid Username in 0.13.0

Invalid

When I try to join a server (Any server) I get a message saying invalid name.
This is a recurring error and changing usernames does not help. This also happened to me when using 0.11.0.

"Incomplete", what is the name? Invalid username will appear when you join a server with symbols, emoji on your username.
