Progress erased

Downloaded update 6.0. Was very excited until I planted some saplings, placed some torches, and placed some sandstone and then left to title screen. When I went back in all of those things were gone. Tried it again and put down some dirt then left game and reloaded and the dirt was gone. Please help can't play til fixed
