I tried making second nether portal in a village that's far away from my first portal at my house. Its very far away that it should have made a second new portal in the nether. But when I enter the portal it took me to the first portal in the nether where my first portal created. This should not happen. The second portal is at least somewhere between 10 to 20 chunks away from my first nether portal. It should have made a brand new portal in the nether in a different location. But it took to where my first nether portal took me.

I just think the range of each portal link is too big. Cause on my Xbox 360 I had two portal roughly the same distance as mention in the description above maybe even closer and it had created a second portal in the nether like expected. But the world on my Nintendo switch bedrock version. Its just linked the portal to the previously existing portal even though its several chunks away. How am I supposed to create a fast travel system in the nether when this system not reliable.
