When I exit the game without fully exiting (leaving it on in the background) my wall map all change to the same area and the map in my hand changes black.

Thank you for your report! This issue was, however, reported at an earlier time as MCPE-12619. Feel free to add any information you find relevant in the comment section there.
If you did not do so this time, please perform a search to see if your bug has already been submitted prior to creating new tickets in the future.
I looked at the previous report you mention but the reporter said nothing about the maps on the wall all changing to the same area, so it looks like i just duplicated the same map and put it up there but they're all different areas. Should I create a new issue just specifying that?
