Summary: When the player has night vision effect and places a light source (can be anything that emits light), it gives off light (this is best done in midnight time).

How To Reproduce:
1: Give yourself night vision effect /effect @s night_vision 999999 1 true
2: Make sure the time is midnight.
3: Place any light source mentioned in this list and observe.
Observed Results:
Placing the light source will emit it's light even tho the player has night vision effect.
Expected Results:
This should not happen when the player has night vision effect.

Light from light sources is visible even with night vision (also, night vision sometimes makes light yellow)
[media][media]This could be a parity thing (MCJE to MCBE). I know I've seen that behavior in Java 1.16 where the light source block still shows a light perimeter 'outline' even with night vision on. So I believe it's an expected behavior. (The screenshots in this post are from Java Edition, but relative to the issue)

What exactly do you mean by “emits light”?
Affects calculated block light?
Affects rendered block light levels (brightness of blocks around the light source)?
Affects rendered brightness (light source and/or blocks around are brighter than without night vision)?
Has no ambient occlusion (light source block has no shadow shading in corners)?
Those are the only things I can imagine you might mean. I expect first and last are Working As Intended, and the middle two are Cannot Reproduce (I don’t see them happening in your screenshots).
