Resource packs/behavior packs created in version 1.17.0 are "incompatible"

You can't install a resource pack/behavior pack created in version 1.17.0. Even the sample behavior pack unzipped to the behavior pack folder doesn't even work

Oh nevermind I just actually fixed it when I deleted the dependencies part of the manifest.json file and started importing to one of my worlds and it was successful

I am having this issue as well. Deleting the "dependencies" part of the manifest.json file hasn't worked for me as it has with the OP.

I'm also having this exact issue on Windows 10 Bedrock. I'm trying to make a behavior pack with structure files, something I've done a bunch of times, and I get that same incompatible message. I downloaded the latest version of the vanilla behavior pack, and it still didn't work. I even tried deleting the dependencies section like the OP suggested, but that didn't work either. As far as I know nothing about behavior pack making has changed so this must be a bug.

Same issue here on mobile

You can fix this by changing the "Version" in all the square brackets (EXCEPT THE FIRST ONES) from [0, 0, 1] to [2, 3, 0]. REMEMBER! DO NOT CHANGE THE [1.17.0] TAG, OR IT WILL NOT LOAD

this no longer works. I am trying to find out why. be back soon. šŸ˜›

I deleted the dependencies part and it just works fine. I don't know what causes this but in 1.16 it doesn't appear to have any problems

I’m having this issue too hope an update comes to fix it bc soooo many fun addons no longer work so yea that sucks

Try updating the dependency version number in the behaviour pack. I tried it and worked.Ā šŸ™‚

Im having this issue too, i tried deleting the dependencies thing and that just removed my behavior pack from the behavior packs list.Ā

Deleting the dependencies worked for me, also.Ā
