Wait. This one happened to me again. I think it happens everytime you reinstall the game. For example, you just switched from beta to public release. Then, when you visit the servers section in the game, it just says "coming soon". I don't know why, but I think It's because of switching from beta to public.
Steps to Reproduce:
Run Minecraft
Join a Minecraft world
Open the inventory, go to the search section, search "banner"
Observed Results:
Banners won't render in the inventory
Expected Results:
It should render like normal
It also happens to me as well. In 1.17.10, my brother and our friend wants to join my survival world so I turned on my hotspot. When both of them successfully connected to my hotspot network, I started my world. After successful loading, they complained that they could not join the world. When my brother hosted his own world, our friend can join perfectly fine in his world, but I cannot join. So, in order for both of them to connect to my world, the 3 of us must connect to a wifi network. This is a huge problem for me and my brother because everytime I attempt to host a multiplayer world, he cannot join, but before, he can join via local hotspot. I wonder when will this feature be available again. Hopefully in the next update, this will be a feature again.
I deleted the dependencies part and it just works fine. I don't know what causes this but in 1.16 it doesn't appear to have any problems
I experienced this in a single player world.
I also agree with that. In the seed 999, there is a hill that separates a village and a pillager outpost. But when you enable the Caves And Cliffs toggle, there is a large area that cuts through the hill and when you dig through the large hole, you end up inside a cheese cave. I think it's a big problem since it ruins the look of the hill and the environment.
Oh nevermind I just actually fixed it when I deleted the dependencies part of the manifest.json file and started importing to one of my worlds and it was successful
This is what I've found out a few days ago about the issue. The texture seems like it's experiencing Z-fighting, a common issue in some textures in the game. I know this might be out of topic but Z-fighting also affects the "chins" of cats. In the texture file for the torch, there is nothing weird. It might be the game's problem at rendering or might be an issue between different renderers in phones and/or other devices. But when beta 1.17.40.20 was released a few months ago, the torch bug was gone. It was likely due to the render dragon render engine which was implemented in that beta but got removed after that beta, which is beta 1.17.40.21. The torch problem is gone again in beta 1.18.10.22 which implemented render dragon for the 2nd time in Android devices, this time for all types of architectures. So it's likely that it's a rendering issue than a problem in the game itself.
