Fire only spreads on east and west of a block, when a trapdoor gets ignited by lava, the fire only spreads in the east side and west side of a block

Seems to be fine with burnable (destructible by fire) blocks such as planks

This also affects portal lighting with lava and trap doors, happened to find this out working a design for my survival world.

I'm playing on 1.20.81 with 1.21 experimental mode enabled and am still being affected by this bug, although perhaps it's been improved? For instance, the gold farm design from silentwisperer's video works with worse rates @ 7:44 min for 30 exp instead of 2:20. A video testing it sort of.
