Frost Walker enchantment creates actual ice instead of frosted ice that "melts" over time

Again, the title says it all.. Now, I don't necessarily use Frost Walker enchantments, but right when I used them they create actual ice below you instead of frosted ice that "melts" over time behind you as you leave a trail of them. This is actually quite useful for large scale based water tanks, but now it doesn't do that anymore. Please fix this issue at some point...

Oh, and one more thing is that this has probably been a bug even before the Nether Update came. Damn, I'm already starting to feel guilty that I actually needed this enchantment so badly even in Creative mode.

Your report does not provide steps telling us how to reproduce the problem. I took a guess, but I have no way of knowing whether my guess was right, which is why we require you to provide the steps in the first place. Your steps should look similar to the following, which describe how I tested this issue.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Create a new world (creative mode is fine).

  2. Obtain any kind of boots from creative inventory.

  3. Select the boots in your hotbar and issue the command enchant @s frost_walker.

  4. Equip the boots.

  5. Walk onto a pond, ocean, or other water surface and observe the ice that forms.

If this is still happening, you are welcome to create a new ticket about your issue with more detailed information, as explained in the Bug Tracker Guidelines. Also be sure to search for existing issues before writing a new bug report.
