I've been struggling to get my Minecraft Windows 10 Edition to work with my Xbox Live gamertag. Every time I try to play the game online (MCPE and MW10E servers) I get an error message: "Please choose a valid username". My gamertag is "Sem Games", and I am 100% sure that the problem is due to the space in the middle of it. Please, fix it! It's very effen annoying to have to use my brother's account to play the game (his username has no space and no special characters, it's just a regular username).

If I am correct, this issue is a PocketMine issue and not Minecraft. Does it happen on public servers?

I tested this out with a server that advertises that it supports MCPE Win 10, (Hypixel) and I too get "Invalid Username" message and cannot connect at all.
My name has spaces in, could that be the issue?
Win 10 Edition 0.13.2

Try playing it with a different gamertag (regular gamertag, no space or special characters etc). I'm pretty sure it's gonna work.
"I think this is a dupe of MCPE-11045"
Thank you very much, Mega_Spud!
