I was playing a while ago on my switch when I realized this happens. I was trying to make an area of water look better when I noticed that if I went into a area of water that was one block under the surface and with a partial flowing bit of water on top the sky would turn a dark blue like you were completely submerged. Its not exactly a important fix but this is a tiny thing that I found while playing.

Are you talking about how the whole screen turns bright light blue when you first jump in water? Visibility increases after a while, but it wasn't like this before the Wild update on Switch. It was the opposite; staying near the water's surface provided greater visibility. I hope this change is reverted – I hate getting blinded every time I go swimming now. Underwater visibility is so much worse!
Bent_00: that's not what this report is about. The gradual increase is an intended mechanic, but it happens too slowly right now. See MCPE-124282 and MCPE-153864.
This report is about the water fog activating when you stand with your top half in flowing water where the camera position is above the water level of the block you are in. Take a look at the attached video.
