When a block is broken in a 1 block tall space, there is a chance that the broken item will teleport upwards to the next available space, and also a chance that the item does not drop at all. items that this has happened to are emerald ore, trapdoors, coral fans, and paintings.

Could you please provide more details or/and media files. As such we have no repro of this issue. Is this still an issue in the latest version (1.17.11)? If so, can you please add it to the affected versions (or mention it if you are not the reporter).

Can confirm that paintings do not always drop. I broke 8 paintings last night and only two of them dropped. (Bedrock Edition edition on Xbox - Beta)
