Minecart chests funnel items out incorrectly and intake items incorrectly

When items funnel into a chest minecart they can only funnel in through the top of the chest and items cant funnel into them from the back or front. Also items funnel out of the back of the chest and the bottom of the chest. Thank you for listening i have found other reports but i dont think they where as in depth as possible and being a person who is learning to make video games i know it can sometimes be hard to find specific issues.
