Yes. Any block around the sign that is air turn into fire and burn the signs

I could send you a screen shot or two but if you want me too how should I send them

That's a bit weird but yes when I make a two by two hole and place 4 signs two on each side and the a lava source block directly above one of the signs or a source block above each sign the signs will be OK for a second and then 1 will catch fire and then they all catch fire and burn
