[MCPE-136477] my netherite pickaxe burnt in lava

i was in the nether mining some netherrack for a massive project and accidentally pressed q instead of w in front of lava that had literally just been revealed so i blocked of the lava and went to pick up my pickaxe but somehow the games code broke and it burnt

This used to happen back when 1.16 was first released but it has been patched since then. I have dropped multiple netherite items in lava (in 1.17.1) and havent had them burn.

but to reproduce it in 1.16. you need to sprint insta mine nettherack revealing lava while pressing q in the correct frame

also there were no packs of any sort
