I purchased Minecraft for Windows 10 and downloaded v1.17.10 to my son's PC, I also downloaded the Code Connection v1.50. However, when open Minecraft for Windows 10 v1.17.10, and it cannot connect to the Code connection IP server.
Launch Code Connection v1.50
It shows IP Address, copy it to clipboard
Launch Minecraft for Windows 10, v1.17.10
Open chat window and paste the IP Address with connect command
The screen of Code Connection is turned to be white a moment, but it return to the IP address screen.
Check the Minecraft window, it shows "cannot connect to the server"
Is there a workaround for this?

After launch Minecraft v1.17.10, Under "Cheats", I enabled both "Activate Cheats" and "Education Edition", before I created "My World".
Then I opened code connection v1.50, and copied the command to the Minecraft chat box, I still get "Could not connect to the server 192.168.1.30:19131" message.
Then I went back to Minecraft setting, I noticed "Education Edition" setting under "Cheats" is still not enabled.
I tried to redo the procedure three times and get the same result.
Can you troubleshoot why the "Education Edition" setting gets change to "disabled" after the game is run?

Did you turn on the Education Edition setting? Since Code Connection is intended to be used with Education Edition, some features (such as in-game coding) may not be available in Bedrock Edition.
