Lost of Some Minecarts with Chest

I have some minecarts with chest full of clothes. Today, after worked far away on my city, I noticed that I have lost some minecarts!
Also, I did a research with the word "Minecart", if this ticket is a duplicate, I am sorry.

In the past versions, minecarts left alone on rails had a tendency to despawn for no apparent reasons. I thought it was fixed now but it might be possible that minecarts with chest have the same problem today.
